Description
Join us on Saturday March 2nd for a fun evening of ice skating for postdocs and their families! All skill levels and ages are welcome. The rink is open 6 to 9 pm but you're free to leave at any point, of course.
We'll meet at the Park's entrance on Riverside Dr and 145th St, in front of the little kiosk where the big sign for the park is (see below).
CUPS will be sponsoring some tickets for members and their families so be sure to get them below (first-come first-serve). Feel free to invite friends from outside CUPS, but they should get a regular ticket (admission is $5 and skate rental is $6).
If you have your own skates, be sure to bring them!
If you can, bring a lock or you'll have to rent one at the booth (not sponsored).

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The closest subway is 145th St (1 train). Also the M4, M5 and Bx19 stop on Broadway/W 145th St.
It is also an easy 30 min walk from the CUMC campus, in case you want to start warming up.
What should I bring into the event?
Lots of good attitude and your friends and family.
Skates if you have them.
A lock to keep your things safe while you skate (they can also be rented on site).
Also, warm and comfy clothes (but that goes without saying).
