In an effort to acclimate new postdocs to Columbia University, we would like to offer a first look at the benefits, resources, and services available to Postdocs University-wide and through the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs. Please note that this orientation is not the same as the benefits orientation offered by HR, and covers a wide-range of topics, including research related resources, postdoc-specific career and professional development programming, as well as community building efforts. Postdocs that have been at Columbia for less than 6 months are the target audience for the orientations, but any postdoc will find these sessions helpful.
If you know a new postdoc here, please share this information with them, as they might not yet be on the postdoc mailing list. The New Postdoc Orientation will be followed by a coffee hour in the same room.
