Take a free improv class to be a better scientist
About this Event
Want to be a better scientist? Scientific American says "Active listening and a sense of humor offer benefits for both communication and research" During this uncertain time, we all can use little bit of humor.
Columbia University Postdoctoral Society (CUPS) and the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) are organizing free online improv classes for postdocs offered by "The Second City" which has a historical connection with the best American comedians and improv artists such as Tina Fey, Steve Carrell, Amy Poehler and Jason Sudeikis, to name a few!
Don't wait! Select any one of the two classes - February 11 or February 23 at 7:00 - 9:00 PM! And let's bring out our inner Jimmies - (Fallon or Kimmel, your choice) to make our science awesomer (you can make up words too)!
