Columbia Postdoctoral Workers - UAW Local 4100
Founded in 2018, the union for Postdoctoral and Associate Researchers at Columbia University works to improve postdoc conditions through contract negotiation with Columbia (including minimum salaries, paid parental leave, medical leave), protections against harassment and discrimination, etc. The union can be contacted for any work-related issues.
Facilities Housing
University Apartment Housing (UAH) is a division of Columbia University Facilities that manages residential units primarily in the immediate vicinity of the Morningside Heights campus, as well as in Manhattan Valley and Riverdale, the Bronx.
Ombuds Office
Whether you are a student, faculty member, staff, or member of the alumni, the Ombuds Office offers a confidential place to discuss workplace issues, academic concerns, issues relating to administrative paperwork and process, explanation and interpretation of policies and procedures, and many other issues or concerns.
