Advocacy OLD
The Advocacy Subcommittee of CUPS serves as an open line of communication between the postdocs at Columbia and the University administration. We work with the subcommittees of the University Senate, including the Research Officers Committee, to help inform Columbia’s policy decisions.
Our goal is to raise awareness of issues affecting postdocs at Columbia, such as housing and benefits, so that the University can implement policies that promote a healthy research community at Columbia. To do this, we need feedback from the community! Tell us what issues you would like the University to address! What policy changes would you like to see implemented? What bothers you? Would you like to get involved?
